While earning my degree in Industrial Engineering I began working in manufacturing. I have now worked in the private sector for just over 20 years. For more than a decade I worked in the Japanese automotive industry holding different positions in: Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Business Development. While there I worked closely with Japanese engineers, technicians, and executives even spending time in Japan to work on engineering and strategy projects.
I was fascinated with the Japanese culture, work ethic and approach to Lean Six Sigma and life. I became passionate about learning as much as I could about lean business and the power lean had to create value for people. While working in the automotive industry I earned my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and went back to school to earn my MBA from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
I have since moved into another leadership role for a prominent aerospace company where I use my expertise in leadership, strategy, and Lean Six Sigma to cultivate a high performing environment focused on operational excellence.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to share my knowledge through consulting and training. I believe it is everyone’s responsibility to pass along knowledge and I’m passionate about sharing everything I’ve learned. Not just about business or Lean Six Sigma but about life experiences as well. I just love helping others succeed in business and in life.
I believe that being a servant is the best leadership quality anyone can possess so my hope is that I can serve you in a way that will enrich both your professional and personal life.
